After seeing nothing on top of the Garth except a cracking view of a snow covered Cardiff a quick trip to Forest Ganol produced a single Hawfinch. The bird was perched a top the veteran beech trees immediately to the left as the path levels out and runs parallel with the upper road.

After seeing nothing on top of the Garth except a cracking view of a snow covered Cardiff a quick trip to Forest Ganol produced a single Hawfinch. The bird was perched a top the veteran beech trees immediately to the left as the path levels out and runs parallel with the upper road.
