Well Done Sid and Kelly

Cheers for the phone call Sid. Much appreciated for getting the news out so fast enabling a good crowd to connect tonight. You are now officially my favourite Glamorgan birder and your picture now has pride of place on the mantle piece having just replaced the Wader (Gileston Ivory Gull!, sorry Steve).

As to the bird itself, pretty elusive in long grass to the right of the road around 500 yards past the locked fisherman's gate. Mainly flight views but did manage one nice view of the head as it moved through the grass. Got some killer shots. Will post them up shortly.

And a big "well done!" to you from me too. Sorry I didn't say so face to face but had to make a sharp exit.
Excellent find mate.

nice one Sid! fingers crossed it stays till tomorrow (some of us have real jobs). If does'nt hang around then it was obviously an escape...........released by the same bird keeper/fancier as the dodgy Gyr, well I'm only saying what everyone else is thinking.
