This is just typical: one goes abroad and something interesting turns up. I'm stuck here with a few post-peak migrant Bunnies, Hawfinches and common migrants such as delightful groups of Grey Heron. Still, no yanks or other innerests.

Migrant stations report high counts of Jays, such as 1178 in 5 hours yesterday. See:
