Cosmeston
There are now 4 Bearded Tits [2m & 2f] at CCP. Along the boardwalk from cafe area. (JDW pers comm.)
last seen at 4:15 in the small area of reeds on right just past the sign boards. They seem to be staying down a lot, although it was v busy with walkers.
Yeah i,m currently on 211 chasing 223 so i,m hoping for a good October and i also have a lot of winter birds to catch up on so fingers crossed. Stuff i haven,t had yet but are reasonably possible are :-
Red Necked Grebe Sooty Shearwater Leach's Petrel Spoonbill White Fronted Goose Whopper Swan Bewick's Swan Surf Scoter Long Tailed Duck Smew Red Grouse Avocet Red Necked Phalarope Pomarine Skua Ring Billed Gull Glaucous Gull Iceland Gull Sabine's Gull Little Auk Wryneck Richard's Pipit Yellow Browed Warbler Twite.
Plus any rarities that turn up. 13 out of 23 will do it. So fingers crossed.

1 female + 1 other seen in flight at 1740hrs. Birds were on the right before the sign boards. and very vocal.
