Experiment
In copying old slides onto computer. If it works will try some more. R B Grosbeak came out OK Great Rosefinch not quite so good.
What technique are you using Maurice - looks to me as if you are getting some background trees and would be better putting the slide up to a window toward the sky on a grey cloudy day - just a thought!
The Grosbeak was at Point Pelee and the Rosefinch Nepal. I could try Cellotaping the slide to the window but I placed it on a sheet of tissue paper over a lamp. Problem was the light is a bit yellow. Have another slide ready and will try and put on Rogues gallery.
