George Chappell RIP
Tiger Woodhead has informed us that George has passed away: 18/10. George was a good friend of Tiger & the Rhiwbina Shepherd. Sincere condolences from all SWB.
Taken at Slimbridge in July for the W-TP, George's last twitch.
I only recently found out that George was seriously ill and this is now sad news indeed. Although I met him locally in the field on only a few occasions I saw far more of him on the old tub crossing 'Biscay. We often chatted when I could get a break from working and he was great company and a true gentleman.

That was the first time i'd really met him but obviously a pleasant guy. Sorry to hear the news.
