Lavernock - steady passage of birds north over about 1 hour from 8am: Chaffinch 750, Linnet 750, Goldfinch 300, Swallow 70, Pied Wagtail 20, Meadow Pipit 50. Also Kestrel 1 and Peregine 1. Very little in the way of grounded birds: Chiffchaff 4, Goldcrest 1.
Cosmeston - Wigeon 5, Teal 1, Shoveller 3, Gadwall 3. Not bad for the time of year! No Sign of Bearded Tits.
