Cold, wet and distant.

Shame Steve..., it was showing in and around the car park berry bushes Thursday. Maybe getting pushed out further from the crowds.

Wish I'd known there was a car going as I would have liked to have come (space permitting of course),wasted a whole bloody day hanging about for Hawfinches (brief flyover views only)and then owls which by the time they surfaced it was pitch black !!
Did get nice views earlier of a ringtail HH but too distant to photograph.
Oh well there's always next weekend.

Hope you phoned Lee or it won't be believed that you saw it ! ( I went on Saturday and had 2 reasonable views though it was mostly skulking. Not much else except Great Northern Diver at Dawlish.

Has Lee the ego ever officiated over south Wales birders?
