Sightings

A late afternoon visit to Cardiff Bay produced this apparent Lesser Scaup off St. David's Hotel. Poor light for photos but the back and flanks are vermiculated, coarser on the back. The out-stretched wing shows white across the secondaries and grey across the primaries.

At Lavernock this morning 3,000 Woodpigeons, 150 Fieldfare, 300 Goldfinch, 150 Chaffinch, 20 Brambling all E.
