Cardiff Bay

Being too lazy to try and dig car out of the snow settled for a circular route around the bay on foot. Alot of duck with biggest numbers in corner by Ice Rink/Prospect Place. Total numbers including off Hamadryad Park and Wetland Reserve:

Tufted Duck 710, Pochard 570, Wigeon 22, Gadwall 8, Scaup 4, Lesser Scaup 1 (Prospect Place), Scaup type hybrids 2, Goldeneye 4 (by Barrage sails), Teal 108, Canada Goose 16.

Also, Little Grebe 30+, Cormorant 50+, Snipe 4, Skylark 2, Meadow Pipit 10+, Song Thrush 15+, Buzzard 1, Kestrel 1, Yellow-legged Gull 1 ad (Wetland Reserve), LBB Gull 400+, Herring Gull 350+, Common Gull 40+, BH Gull 750+, GBB Gull 2.
