Cardiff (various sites)

A hunt for waxwings in the northern suburbs drew a blank I'm afraid, however a good morning's birding was had.
Llanishen village: Mistle Thrush [26], Blackbird [22], Brambling [1] & Redwing [24].
Lisvane Res: Little Grebe [6] & Common Gull [16].
RPL: Little Grebe [7], Jay [1], Redwing [10], LBB Gull [77] & Common Gull [11].
Lamby Lake: Yellow-legged Gull [2 ads], Common Gull [54], Herring Gull [265], BH Gull [400] & Water Rail [1].

Can't find any Waxwings around St Mellons either. I also looked at RPL on the 30th and there were 10 Shoveler. Gates to lower section were locked, presumably health & safety again.
