Just some of the beautiful trophies up for grabs at this years presentation/curry evening.
The SOoTY,often copied, never matched.Hand crafted by orphans in a factory just south of Beijing this wonderful award will adorn some lucky buggers mantlepiece for the next 12 months.
Commissioned by the world famous sculpture Johnny 'the whittler' Williams from Pontllanfraith. The 'Pewter pigeon' is allegedly made from the melted remains of the legendary sword 'Excalibur' (or was it a fridge? well it was something we dragged up from the bottom of a local pond). You are going to need a seriously strong table or support for this awesome baby, should you be lucky enough to be presented with it, that is.And yes the bill and claws are actually 24ct gold Airfix paint

Damn.I think me or joek might stand a chance.
The pewter pigeon is a 'special needs' award given to the best identification by a professional Glamorgan birder in 2010.
There are no professional birders in Glamorgan !
I was just going to say that narrows it down abit, bloody favouritism if you ask me,so the big boys don't go home empty handed.
Clive its always the same but don't worry as one day the meek shall inherit earth
the
Ok then, the 'pewter pigeon' is an award for the best identification by a semi-professional midget. Shall I narrow it down anymore?
Psalms 25:8 "The meek shall inherit the earth, but not the mineral rights."
As long as we still got the plant rights everyone this side of the M4s happy like, butty and all that see
Why not have a photo of the year award, lets face it there are some real cracking photos on here, could pick ten and then have a vote on it
Already in the offing Misty.
It's actually the Cardiff Unanimous Knobend Trophy or to give it it's Dr Spooner title, a TOTAL!
