Just some of the beautiful trophies up for grabs at this years presentation/curry evening.

The SOoTY,often copied, never matched.Hand crafted by orphans in a factory just south of Beijing this wonderful award will adorn some lucky buggers mantlepiece for the next 12 months.

Commissioned by the world famous sculpture Johnny 'the whittler' Williams from Pontllanfraith. The 'Pewter pigeon' is allegedly made from the melted remains of the legendary sword 'Excalibur' (or was it a fridge? well it was something we dragged up from the bottom of a local pond). You are going to need a seriously strong table or support for this awesome baby, should you be lucky enough to be presented with it, that is.And yes the bill and claws are actually 24ct gold Airfix paint

The pewter pigeon is a 'special needs' award given to the best identification by a professional Glamorgan birder in 2010.

Ok then, the 'pewter pigeon' is an award for the best identification by a semi-professional midget. Shall I narrow it down anymore?

Why not have a photo of the year award, lets face it there are some real cracking photos on here, could pick ten and then have a vote on it
