Llanishen, Cardiff

A flock of c140 was seen around midday around the Ty Glas Ave/Fishguard Rd areas. The flock, which fragments easily, is loosly feeding in berry laden trees in the immediate vacinity. It is very difficult to get an accurate count, however 140 seemed fair. I'm sure there are more, but with the berries as numerous as they are, the birds are feeding at many sites. Possibly a pre-roost count would be the most favourable for any accuracy of numbers.
Of note, I have heard of a report of a Rough-legged Buzzard over Bridgend today.
