potential 1 st for UK, strange no one else was there, colour-ringed in Denmark for purpose of data collection, main call : "lego-me-leg", very obliging bird, made no attempt to fly, gregarious with Coot. Submitted as "Red Herin" but rejected as other spectes of RED could not be ruled out, insisted on full "piece-by-piece" description - SOD THAT !!!
