Well done Tiger, excellent portraits. Not often you get the chance to watch and photograph this species pair at close quarters. Keep your photos coming.
Slavonian Grebe still present by the Ice Rink this morning, but couldn't find the Black-necked. Another birder present before me had not seen it either. Checked up river but no sign, though Lesser Redoll feeding a close range in willows just south of Channel View Leisure Centre and female Goosander on river there.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, Brother Dog. Slav was mid-bay at about 11am, no sign of BNG.
