Great Grey Shrike
Llanwonno Forest: Great Grey Shrike showing very well around midday in clearing just over 2 miles north of Llanwonno Church at approx grid ref ST023982, presumably the bird reported in this general area earlier in winter. Also, at least 12 Common Crossbills seen, others heard, plus 2 Lesser Redpolls and numerous Siskins.

A bloody long walk, but only took 18 minutes to run to the bird from Llanwonno car park, well worth it!
