So it`s war then!
I have just been on the other channel and guess what? south wales birding has not been linked. I find that very strange when Glamorgan birds has been linked! Brother Slap you may be right about .....
The words toys and pram come to mind. I know lets talk about it somewhere so only a chosen few can comment.Scrub that the words kettle, pot and black now come to mind. Congratulations to them all for taking blogging/birding to a new informative level... cutting out all the garden birders drivil, insignificant part time twitchers and general cockheads. Can't wait to your witty replies like - the words fuck and off come to mind, why read here if you don't like it and all the middle class wit, repartie and historical analagies which makes it sound cool. That covers most of all the alter egos and "happily challanged" people on here. Last question - Whats' the point of having a link no-one is going to use.

What war? There's no link to the Gower Wildlife blog either so it's nothing personal. There are reciprocal links with the glamorganbirds site the server of which is acting as a place to store downloadable docs such as the rarity submission form, as hyperlinking to them directly from the GRC blog is very quick, and easier than using e.g. Google docs. I can't see what the problem is - it takes nothing way form here and is just a centralised source of info re rare birds and their submission and adjudication. Surely it's a plus for the county?

Is it purely an oversight by whoever set up the new blog (which is great by the way) or something more sinister ? If it's just an oversight create the link and also one to the Gower Wildlife blog at the same time - end of problem. Happy Days !!

On a different note, its just a blog, be it an offical type looking one for the county.We,ve now got four sites for the county. One full of beginners drivil, one in Latin, one for the alternative side of birding and the new one for the dedicated birders who were around before birds became a fashionable pastime for the tea towel brigade. This isn't a bad thing.
I always laugh when David posts anonymously, especially when he then derides anonymous postings! Especially when he likes and wants the anonymous function because it gave him the tool with which he hide behind the 'boo boys' and blame them for all the naughtiness that was actually all his own doing. All hidden behind the anonymous button. The CBC blog ended because both myself and the Slapster essentially got fed up with the same old arguements being thrashed out, by the same old people, and because of one individual who essentilly hi-jacked the CBC blog to get at those that he saw in his way to the path of righteousness and the greatness of what he saw in his own little world as his rightful destiny? It ended because we got that fed up by his ego and his rantings that we just ended it, started a new blog, stopped the anonymous function and stopped him from interfering. A very true story! Hee! Hee! Hee!
better off with the anon button off, then we can see who says what. I have noticed that certain people who slag off the anonymous posters are only too eager to use it themselves, strange that. Apart from that keep up the insults as it detracts from worrying about real problems we face like climate change(ho! ho! ha!ha! and that dangerous cunt Clegg selling us all down the river
