Lapland Bunting

A single Lapland bunting was 'shuffling' along at ABP, Cardiff this lunchtime (13:15) in the area that once held the 'special' stage of the RAC rally. It was probably the same bird that flew across Longships Road from the grassy area between the coast and the road itself as I drove past. This area is accessible via the beach at low tide only, but is private land that is regularly patrolled by port security. I'm not sure but I think the area between the road and the coast is not under the same restrictions as that the other side of the barrier that is port land, so might be worth a search there for it.

You will be kicked off if seen wandering around Longships rd,you are only allowed to go as far as the Red pole on the beach, that's why you don't see many Anglers past that point.
