Your not wrong Bitch, me thinks there's a clique of back slappin' twitchers on this blog who think special rules apply, we get no end of pic's of lil'owl an slav grebe an nothing is said fron snowdrop!(tho' i'm not bitter...)

If you knew how much disturbance in the area takes place, you might think differently.

Clique what clique?

Bertie my old fruit. If you knew the rules you wouldn't think them special at all. You'd also know that the reason we told you to sling your hook was because you so clearly don't. And still don't by the sounds of it?

I stand by my earlier comment and slappy led me on with his dartford pic at the head of the blog. Less of the queeny back-biting would be nice...old fruit indeed!

Bertie, the picture at the head of the blog is neither mine, nor is it a dartford. It is infact Steve's pic of the Marmora's at Blorenge last year and he deserves a jolly good pat on the back for it.On the other hand your images of a Dartford stirred up a number of complaints, particularly as a local 'pro' (the word pro used in a very loose sense) had his collar felt (allegedly) by the long arm of the law for photographing the same species during its breeding season.

It looks nothing like a Dartford Warbler and as for Slav Grebe your not referring to the Black necked Grebe are you Bertie?

Bertie, try not make yourself vunerable to the selective bullying.

Slaphead said...

'selective bullying' ? WTF ? as Bertie is quite entitled to make a point or say his piece (all be it inaccurate)referring directly to me,then surely I or anyone else are quite entitled to respond to it ?.

What exactly is your beef mate?

We're very selective, we're a better class of bully than a mere random one.

Bertie (my little fluffy bunny), anyone who posts photos that contravene the 'guidelines' outlined in a previous post will see their shots lifted. Period. Hardly bitchy, bullying or any thing else for that matter. Little Owl and grebe sp pictures do not contravene these rules. In any case the little owls are a fledged brood and the grebe sp. was non-breeding bird. The picture at the top of the blog is, as has been stated, not actually a dartford warbler. If pointing that out makes me, or anyone else for that matter a bully, then so be it.

If you want to photograph dartford warblers then can I suggest you get the necessary licence, then you can photograph away to your hearts content.

All the best, Queenie xx

Nige+Nige,
Can I suggest that for the "uninformed" such as "Bertie" that the statement on the blog header regarding copyright etc is extended to include the fact that any pics of Schedule1 species during the breeding season other than obvious passage birds ie Dotterel will not be published and that in taking such photographs the photographer leaves him/herself open to criminal prosecution.
This leaves posters in no doubt regarding which images will/will not be published.
