To all you so called expert bird id Gurus here's a photo of what a genuine Redhead looks like. Next time, examine the bird and don't be sucked in by the bullshitting so called experts. You know who you are, everyone else does too, for those in doubt look for the yolk around the eyes...
Question is, what was ever wrong with the first 'real' one. Was the one that came after always with the real one the first time around because the one that came after was never the same as the one that came along in the second winter that it might have been with all along.....sadly only the one that came back ever did come back. The real one had more sense and stayed put where it belonged at Slimbridge of Llanelli. If the real one had been photographed, the first time, as opposed to the fake one that was obviously with it, we wouldn't have this mess. There was nothing wrong with the first one that the second one was obviously with all along. Question is....if the second one was the first one all along, therefore blowing my theory to pot, then how do you explain the regression in the eye colour for the first real one (yellow) to the second dodgy one that was amber? And how does the bill pattern become less diffuse over the course a year. I suppose it got moulted? Not.
