Mystery Photos

The first one is for JTR Pers Randal, the second for Meehan and the third for general deliberation. The prize for the first correct answer to be posted is to be able to sit next to me at the Cardiff Bastards Christmas Curry where I'm sure to be emitting plenty hot gasses.....

If the prize is to sit next to your frankly diseased arse mumblings then the answers are:

(a) Amazonian Honey Monkey (sub-species nutclusterii)
(b) Peruvian Ground Badger
(c) Giant Malabar Squirrel

Am I close?

Your spot on Rando! You are the lucky victim sitting next to Smellmour!!

Thanks for that second image - I needed reminding...

Was the first image taken at Lavernock?

3. Blyth's or Eastern Reed?

Competition closed. Congratulations Randal. Seymour has just phoned and confirmed that it is indeed a Giant Malabar Squirrel.Your seat has been reserved!

I'll wear my best and tightest shorts then.

I want my rightful place back in the gas chamber OK!

Looks like Blyth's Reed. Wing point = 4th primary. Emargination on outer web
2,3,4 & possibly 5. Reed has wing point P4 (numbered from outside - remember
P1 is tiny and you can't see it in photo so first you see is P2) and emargination only P3.
Thats best guess from photo and doesn't appear to have rufous tones to rump.
Couldn't rule out Eastern Reed unless have bill measurements.

Now get those shorts off Rand and give me my seat back!!

You're a clever boy Meehan! I'm now eagerly looking forward to our aromatic soiree together; you on my left and Randal on my right.

No, the burning question is who will be sitting opposite Randal waiting for an opportunity to transform him into Hopkirk deceased; MB and the Hole in the Arse Gang from Dead Man's Gulch near Maesteg!
