R G Wharf.
I was watching a jogger running along the bank down towards Cardiff hoping he'll flush some Owls along the way but he didn't so i took 4 steps forward and 11 exploded out of a ditch right at my feet,fabulous!!!!!! they all flew out and dropped in to the spartina where they stayed all day( too windy).

We knew there were up to 7 Rob but 11 is incedible,must have given you a start when they came up so close !
Just a shame they didn't play ball and stay up.
