Hendre Lake

Water Rail and a couple of Snipe on the island this morning. Other birds included Treecreeper, Goldcrest, Green and G.S. Peckers, Little Egret, Bullfinch, Redwing etc. No Green Sands or Bitterns so far this winter ( reed beds often kicked though rarely by birders). Few Little Egrets roosting. Happy new year to all.
