Gileston

Never saw much in the mid-day soaking. left at about 1.00pm having hail hurled at me and got drenched. Waited for it to clear then moved in to photograph the Brents (no sign of Purple Sand, I think Portly messed up a Dunlin!!!) as I got to a reasonable distance and checked the settings on my camera I realized the battery was dead. I went home!! Swearing!!!

Part two:  Changed clothes, put battery on charge ,had tea.
Sun started shining so back down for another go on the Brents. Got quite close, took off converter, looked up,Gone, back to rivermouth!! More hail, soaked again!!
