Heliport Bay

Bonaparte's Gull, presumably Graham's bird. Picked up by PB flying in from direction of RGW. Spent around an hour feeding on rising tide before disappearing around the corner towards Cardiff Bay. High tide probably best. Appears to have a couple of black spots on tertials so not sure whether that is a sign of immaturity ? Also plenty of other birds, Pintail, Shoveler, Turnstone, Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Bar-tailed Godwit, Med Gull.
