Nice selection Cliff,it's a great place to photograph Red Kites as the feeding area is closer than at Gigrin, the great light of the last few days really makes a difference.
It was severly cold, E wind right in your face, downside of that is the birds were flying into it & away from the camera much of the time, must go back again when wind is from the west & see the diff
hi John, we went via Sennybridge then west for a few miles to Trecastle, left at the Castle pub then minor road W/SW for about 9 miles past the Usk Resvr sign, but good thing we had a 4/4 car. The other way would be thru Neath,P dawe GCG & north thru Brynaman, over Carreg Lllwd then take a minor road right thru Twynllanan & continue E/NE to the Red Kite Cafe. Park there & follow the sign
I was there on new years day, photo opportunities were crap, too dull and drizzly. As a matter of fact the owner said it's been so mild that the Kites weren't hungry and preferred to stay out worming instead, eventually about 20 did come in but didn't look keen.He said he wouldn't charge so i put a tenner in the box anyway. And they do a cracking Cappuccino in the pub.

I like the arc of birds in the bottom pic. Where is this place?
