problem is Jeff, it will take a good number of people to find it!
I'd have traded some light for closer and longer views but then I guess that's the nature of the bird.
Good point about strength in numbers and the more pairs of eyes the better,we'll have to get a bunch of "toggers" together and give it a go.
when Wader left it on Fri pm, it showed briefly about 4 more times on both sides of the hedge along a distance of c 100 yds until dusk but not a cat in hell s chance of a photo - you & Smudger did well to get what you have, it was a case of someone say "there it is" & it was gone again !

Jeff, have you tried turning on your camera's autofocus yet?
Was reading the shite on Garry Bagpuss's website last night and didn't realise that I was part of a "crew" attending the CY twitch on Sunday a.m !
