Tiger on the Foreshore

Imagine my surprise when this stunner turned up; lured to within snapping distance of my big lens by a tied up Samba deer (just out of shot). Using some of the best 'fieldcraft' ever seen (well at least since Slaphead and Wader went to Cornwall to photograph escaped Snowy Owls), certainly paid dividends on this day.

My use of a live deer to capture these shots could be seen as a little controversial, but when you get these sort of photographic results, I think justified. Please note, no short-eared owls were hurt in the production of these pictures.
