Results of a superb days Osprey watching.I went back this morning and spent a couple of hours in the fishermans hut in the unlikely event that they might have shown again but only got distant views.I think i was pushing my luck a bit Jeff.

Wouldn't it be fabulous if they stayed to breed? I can't see why they don't.

Plenty of suitable locations and habitat Rob,now only if we can get one of the large organisations to sponsor a couple of nesting platforms.

The fishing fraternity down here would soon put a stop to that!!!!

Nesting platforms would be a great idea all it would require is the forestry to leave a trimmed tree somewhere and we'll get Steve to build a platform on it - he's good at that sort of thing!
Potential here for some really good stuff next year OR in the autumn?

The fishermen would only be envious of the size of fish the birds caught, they tolerate the cormorants on the res so what's the difference really..
