Lisvane Res
There's a Ferruginous Duck on Lisvane viewable from Platform off Blackoak Road.
Bugger.......I found the last one in 1972 when I was still in short pants....its certainly kept its value since then. Road Runner was almost jerking off when I got there!
Squirrel, mini-me was very impressed with the fabled Lisvane Reservoir. Good idea to hold him up to your scope to ensure Frug Duck appears on his list at a mere 19 days old. If history repeats itself he will be taking his own kids to see the next one there! Went to Lisvane carpark today & spoke with the guard. He confirmed again its walkers only from the end of the month. He also told me that someone has smashed the camera & lights on the portacabin & that he is required to photograph all trespassers with a view to prosecution & anyone with dogs from the end of the month.

Too right PL, all we need now is a nice Roseate Tern in the spring and my birding year is made!
RR, if Roseate Tern falls you will have completely wiped out all my grips on you.......did you see the Leach's Petrel though?
No, but Roseate will do for starters, happy to save Leach's for later.
PL - Trust Junior PL was suitably impressed with his first visit to the fabled hallowed turf of Cardiff's premier birding site and dog walking arena!
