Polecat
Great views of a Polecat as it moved back and forth between den and it's search for prey this afternoon. The site was just outside Porth (don't worry I had my jabs for berri-berri and rabies before I visited). Think I'll take the camera tomorrow and hopefully I'll get some shots and post them tomorrow. Only the second 'live' polecat I've ever seen. The last one was on Craig yr Allt in 1981!

no photos? Probably the camera scared it off ;-)
I've been to Porth - will I catch rabies!!!!!!!!!!
Or worse
saw the polecat earlier this afternoon, very close views too (no tapes, honest) if I get the chance I will post the photos later.
Smudge, as long as you wear protection (kevlar body armour) you'll be fine.
just received this from a Paul in Porth.
Reward of a fiver for safe return of pongo the polecat, lost whilst out rabbiting for sunday lunch.
