The idea is to tease the bird with a big fat worm on a hook and lower it down and when it goes for it ,reel it in quick. This is the shot.

Car battery - electric fence trick.

Next was to use a car battery and connect up to the fence and put a few volts through... great fun! Don`t worry about the birds we chucked a few mealworms when we were finished.. What a fun day and not even on private land!!
