Gull-billed Tern
Showing well from British Steel Hide, Penclacwydd at 11.10.
It seems to spend high tide at penclac roosting often out of sight on the central raised strip. Most of the time it seems to be at just south of Loughor bridge - beyond the outfall pipe structure and often in typical dipping flight over the saltings or just poking about on the mud. Access over the railway line is closed off by the new bridge construction. However I did see a man in waders {not Hinton]collecting rag worms on the place where the GBT feeds. I suspect he walked across the railway line!!!!!just east of the site entrance to the works - dangerous.
