unfortunatly Jeff, the bird was no closer than 50 yds for me, shame after it had shown so well earlier in the week & it took 5 hrs for me to get this shot plus keeping half a doz or so others (loads deleted), but the Heron was the real bonus !!
At least you got the bird out in the open Cliff,hope it sticks around 'til the weekend,I may have a go for it,the colour on some of the godwits is stunning.
