Cardiff Bay
Boardwalk - The Lesser Scaup was back on the reserve in eclipse plumage. Garganey seen again earlier but not on show late afternoon. Presumably it spends its time on the small pools on the reserve which you can't see due to the reeds.
....looked like the genuine article to me, Victorian Dad and Alexandra'.....the last time I heard a line like that was from the testimony of Gerd Heidemann and the the team that verified the Hitler Diaries (Aged 56 and 10 days).

I understand it is reported as Lesser Scaup-type on GBC site, presumably by an inexperienced birder...looked the genuine article to me, MCP and Alex.
