Lavernock

Not on a par with East Coast, though still a steady passage of migrants in the gloomy, easterly weather conditions from 9.15 to 12.25 today mainly comprising of Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Linnet, Goldfinch, Lesser Redpoll, Bullfinch, Starling, Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail, Redwing, Fieldfare, Blackbirds, Mistle Thrush, Swallow, House Martin, Reed Bunting, Coal Tit, Wood Pigeon, Common Snipe. Highlights were Hawfinch (2) and Brambling (11).

Much the same as Phil at Lavernock minus the Hawfinches. 6 Greater Scaup this evening in Cardiff Bay off Prospect Place along with 2 Goldeneyes.
