Sightings

Today
Lavernock Point - With the wind dropping, much more birds around today, particularly in the 2nd & 3rd fields along the coastal path. Skylark 40+, Meadow Pipit 25+, Linnet 70+, Chaffinch 20+, Reed Bunting and lots of Corvids. Overhead, Redpoll, Siskin, Pied Wagtail and a few Goldcrests in the bushes, but a complete lack of Warblers apart from 2 Blackcap.

Cosmeston - The drake Lesser Scaup was on East Lake this afternoon amongst the Tutfed Duck. Otherwise, 50+ Swallows feeding over West Lake, and a few Redpoll flying around.

Cardiff Bay (Prospect Place) - 2 Scaup and 3CY Yellow-legged Gull in roost.

Yesterday
Lavernock Point - Stock Dove, Merlin & Brambling (MCP) otherwise very quiet apart from a few finches over, Siskin, Redpoll, Chaffinch.

Cosmeston - Redwing & Redpoll.

Cardiff Bay (Prospect Place)- 2 Scaup & 2 Goldeneye.
