Sightings

Cosmeston - Mallard,Teal, Tufted Duck, Pochard. Lots of birds around the Dragon Fly pool included plenty of Redwings & Blackbirds. Also Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Brambling, Redpoll, Siskin & Chiff Chaff. Probably best bird in Cosmeston context was a Lapwing heading over west. Cardiff Bay - the 6 Scaup have moved to the reserve and were visible from the board walk this afternoon. Also a single Goldeneye. Prospect Place - a further 2 Goldeneyes. Hamadryad Park - 2 ad Med Gulls on football pitch.

Several Goldcrests and Coal Tits roving bushes and trees west of Lavernock reserve this afternoon, later 2 Goldeneye at Prospect Place, not a lot else in deteriorating weather.
