Ogmore

Only managed to find one Purple Sand this morning though understand there are 7 there. Also on beach 2 Med. Gulls, 12 Turnstones and 3 Rock Pipits. Only saw a few Goldeneye on river but apparently most things flushed by canoeists. Did not look for Water Pipit though it was seen today. Plenty of Stonechats around here, unlike the cardiff area. On return learned of waxwings in Ty-mawr rd. Rumney. Will have a drive round there tomorrow morning if weather not too bad.
