Tigger - Photographs of Kingfisher with the fish head to the front are often considered to be of feeding birds at the nest for which a licence is required. Fish are presented to young in that way. So the eating way around i.e. going down head first are 'better'. Not that that is an issue in autumn of course. Not a lot wrong with your lens Tiger that a Canon 300 f2.8 + 1.4 extender wouldn't improve!
your "g" button seems to be sticking Smudgger & sorry I could nt get a pi c of the young, they were just out of the picture to the left ! hoping to win the lottery one day so I can the the "big glass" boys !!
