Sightings: Waxwings in Rumney, Cardiff
12 birds on New road and flocks (same birds commuting) of 4,5 or 6 on Quarrydale road at 14:30hrs today.
Misty, are you coming to the Xmas curry 2012? You're more than welcome and we promise that our chosen venue serves more than Cat and Dog Tikka Massala (unlike the Llynfi Valley Curry Emporium (aka Dai's Fish Bar))?RSVP at your leisure.

nice 1 mike i like that ha, randall there's nothing wrong with cat or dog infact they are nicer than hedgehog you should try one of our valley keebab's next time you fancy birding above sea level ;)

They were still there when I left about half an hour later but had a drive past this morning (22nd) and did not see them.
Birds first appeared at 11.45 in ty mawr rd and returned approx every half hr untill i left at 1.15pm
Were they arriving by bus or on the train? Neither probably or they wouldn't be so reliable arriving
