also out & about

..Forest farm, the male Kingfisher in front of the hide with the door was watched and photographed by many. The bird is profoundly deaf or had its ipod turned full up drowning out the dinn created by the  occupants of the hide,at one point there was a dude nigh on hanging his boat-race out of the window pishing and calling, I quote, "here boy"!!! (I kid you not) in a vain effort to get the bird to turn around,it flew off,no surprise there then.

  
Not the hide,the kingfisher or the plonker,but a fungi ,no idea what it is though.

looks good for Velvet Shank but cant find the other one in my "I-spy fungi" book so I confirm "string of the year" is surely hdg Randal s way, or I ve got to put a better book on my birthday list !
