Cheers Jeff,i spent 2 days in the area, the 1st was a bit dull but the 2nd morning was sunny the only downside was Midges by the million,it was so bad i packed up after just 30 minutes and headed for higher and windier ground, even though i took a net balaclava they were still in my eyes, ears and up my nose, how the hell can people live in these places?

Some cracking shots there Mitch - have you got your lens back yet - the middle Kite is great.
The third ain't bad either.

Cheers Rich! Yeah i've got the lens back after 5 weeks. A hour ago i thought i'd be sending it back, one of my grandsons who are staying the night for some reason decided it would be a good idea to throw my camera bag with all my gear in down the stairs, all i could her was this gut wrenching crash,i don't think it's damaged i'll check it in the morning,i'm just about calming down after losing my temper with him.

Superb shots Mitch, cracking cuckoo shot in flight no less, not an easy one, love the kite, hope your gear is all right after the incidence.

I tried to upload a Kite photo to Birdguides but was rejected 'sensitive bird etc' even though i stated it was taken at Gigrin where 90% of uploaded Kite photos come from ???????????????
