Just For 'Back focus' Jeff!!
No regrets buying this lens - the Broad bodied Chaser was photographed at a distance of 8 feet
The Wren sitting on the 'snake head' at 30 feet! and heavily cropped.
I think you've over compensated with your sdjustments Rich,I'm sure I now detect a hint of "front-focusing" !! The plastic dragonflies are ok,but with a 500mm you'd have absolutely "nailed" the Wren.

Shots that are reasonable arguments for upgrading but oh my aching back (pocket!)
