Out and About

Cosmeston -Pretty quiet. LBB Gulls Blue 833 (Gloucs Landfill) and blue 3UF (Flat Holm). Canada Geese and Mute Swan still sporting youngsters.

Cardiff Bay Wetland Reserve - 29 Great Crested Grebes from the board walk, young GC Grebes, Mute Swan, Coot & Moorhen. Lots of Swifts low over the bay but none with white rumps or needle-tails....must keep looking.

Heliport - A single Gannet off shore and Black-headed Gulls starting to reappear with one or two juvenile birds.

Goldcliff - Another Gannet off shore. On the reserve, Redshank, Greenshank, Dunlin, Oystercatcher, Black-tailed Godwit, Curlew, Lapwing, Little Ringed Plover, Avocet, Little Egret and Spoonbill (from 2nd hide). Also Peregrine over and a Hobby earlier (per MM).
