Cosmeston

A mid morning walk around the lakes produced little of note. However, the Lesser Black-backed Gull 2UF was present - I assume a Flat Holm bird. Elsewhere 2 Treecreepers were showing well in the copse adjacent to the visitor centre. Juvenile Blue Tits, Dunnock & Willow warbler also noted there.

Yep, 2UF (white on green) is one of this year's birds from Flat Holm

I assume Matt means Blue 2UF which is one of the most regular colour ringed Gulls at Cosmeston. In which case it's a July 2004 Flat Holm bird with sightings from Spain and Cosmeston. Ps Matt stop trying to sneak new colour ring records on me!

Thanks Alex, I'm too keen to hear about this year's cohort! Well look out for 2UF white on green - that's this year colour scheme!

TBH I can't recall the ring colour, although I think it 'may' have been white on green - bad light etc ;0)

Yeah green 2UF will be a Juv, so must have been blue 2UF (will have to get more imaginative with the codes). Cheers guys!
