Getting better!!


3 weeks ago Ana and myself WO's aboard the Cap Finistere spotted a large whale passing our ship half way out towards th...e horizon. It had a very large blow and a very long back. We assumed at the time it was a large Fin Whale. However, we can now confirm it was in fact a blue whale!!! the first one spotted this year! This has now been confirmed by a few people, who took a look at our photos and confirmed it by its large splash guard, blow and the colour of its back. How exciting!!
