The Angle Baird`s Sandpiper.
Birding in the south and west of Wales is very quiet at the moment. This time last year this was found by Clive Hurford.

I managed to conspire to miss this bird during a jaunt with Portly. Another one of my seen in Gwent but not Glamorgan waders!
