More Terns at the Res

A quick trip down to the Res this lunchtime was rewarded with this shot. I've spoken to Gazza, Bazza, Tazza and Wazza, and I've also emailed some Swedish bloke called Lars. They've all confirmed my initial suspicions that this is a bird. The orange bill is probably just a trick of the light.

I then decided to consult Glamorgan's very best tern identification expert. Jeff thinks it might be a badger.

As far as I'm aware this is the first confirmed record for the Res?

My God - that's the WP's first record of Indian River Tern Randy! You clever boy.
Did it bring the Indian riverbank along with it?

Really? An Indian River Tern? But Jeff was absolutely certain it was a badger.

Nah,too small for a badger,polecat maybe ?

I'm with Jeff on this one. The subtle bill computation is diagnostic.
