Sightings

Uskmouth - Bearded Tit near hide. Quite a few duck in front of hide - Pochard, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, Teal, Shoveler, Mallard & Little Grebe chick. Cosmeston - A few Willow Warblers and Chiff Chaffs. Marsh Tit showed really well in Cogan Wood around 150 yards before you reach the carved Dragon tree.

Today a male Redstart by the sign about reserve opening and a single Little Owl in the usual place. Goldcliff much as before did not see Curlew Sand or Little Stint which were seen earlier. Sparrowhawk and Kestrel having a fight provided most exitement.
